BuildingMV processes the utility and weather data you submit to calculate whole-building energy savings and produce analysis results and exports.

Project data and sessions

The tool uses a signed session cookie and server-side project storage to associate your uploads, settings and results with your browser session. Interface preferences are saved with the project. Session and storage limits apply.

Use New Project in the workbench to clear the active project. Download any reports or data you want to retain before clearing a project or leaving a session.

Weather lookups

If you choose location-based weather, the entered location is used to retrieve geocoding and weather information from external services. You can instead provide weather in your utility file or upload a weather file.
